The main aspect of the new Moon in Gemini is the opposition to Lilith. Lilith, the dark moon, is a fierceful power in a horoscope to overcome voids and the own inner abandonment, especially where we abandon our selves in order to be in a relation:

With Lilith so prominent in opposition to the new moon, one may say that relations, that were not working, are now releasing their tension and grip they had on the collective. This may not mean, that the relation itself dissolves, but that the stress stops to bother the matriarchal-patriarchal patterns and the power struggle of the sexes that had been so prominent in the last four ages.

As a short reminder, in the past 4 ages we only switched from Matriarchy to Patriarchy to Matriarchy to Patriarchy, but now we enter something new, the age of Unity. So the power struggle that all sexes were used to live in, to fight, to win it finally after a few millennia, taking over for an eon, is now obsolete. Even though the fight itself worked out and may still work out, the new energy asks for union. Union of body and soul, union of the inner male and female and  co-shared and cooperative existence and relation between the sexes on the outer.

To each member of the human family, to each culture, this union may come in different ways. Some may experience a strong loving relation to their wedded mates, some may have strong friendships or work colleagues, shared hobbies. For some it may take the shape of bisexuality, of transgender or androgynous  emotions, thinking, bodies and relations. There is a broad variety on themes, how it can manifest, yet the theme itself, rooted in the Aquarian age, can not be bypassed.
on the collective level this may mean, that we still may face more and more challenges about sexualit,  polarity and cultural patterns, which means, that the tension of it may still rise in the collective.

The nodes – so the places, where eclipses will occur within 1 ½ years time, entered  Leo / Aquarius and are at the end of these signs. The coming solar eclipse in August, picking up the themes from 1999 (as also being in Leo / Aquarius), will cast its shadow more on the US, forming a testing ground for this Aquarian – Leo age, and therefore a  felt struggle on collective issues about sexuality so it is quite possible, that through America (and all  nations touched by the eclipse shadow)  will work on these themes more intense than others.

The new moon is in a wide square with the nodes, touching these issues, scratching on the surface, and showing this struggle and challenge also issue in a variety of pattern, as it is not a “normal” square. Usually a square, so a 90 degrees angle, can only happen from elements and signs of same moving pattern. We call that a cross. So Leo is on the fixed cross along with Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio. Leo is fix fire, Aquarius is fix air, Taurus is fix earth and Scorpio is fix water. In leo the fire is burning, there is no spark there is no fading. It is a steady flame, in Taurus the earth is fix, not like a rock, more like the soil ready to be prepared ground for seeds, in Scorpio the water is fix, like in a moor, the water that stands still even more than in a lake. No water coming in, no pouring out, just water in stillness.  But new moon is in the beginning of Gemini, Gemini and Leo are in a mutual sextile, Gemini is on the mutile cross, with the other partners Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. Therefore, this square is a square from the angles, yet from the elements and the symbolic it is not. So it I a square in tension, but not in theme.

More clearly one may adress the buzzing energy of the moon when applying the Sabian Symbols to them. The Sabian Symbols refer to one degree each in the zodiak, so there are 360 degrees – therfore 360 symbols.

PHASE 65 (GEMINI 5°): A REVOLUTIONARY MAGAZINE ASKING FOR ACTION. 

KEYNOTE: The explosive tendency of repressed feelings and root emotions. 

Every movement overstressing one direction calls forth in time an equally extreme movement in the opposite direction. This is particularly true at the level of the dualistic mind symbolized in the zodiac by Gemini. What is rigidly bound in form and convention tends to explode into formlessness. It may do so violently if socially oppressed — through revolution — or at the psychological level in psychosis; or it may withdraw inwardly into the mystical state in which one identifies with an unformulatable Reality.

This fifth stage is related to the first, for it is the experience of a world of being so far unperceived by the everyday consciousness which starts the process. In the same sense a psychedelic experience may momentarily make the mind transparent to a non-ego-structured realm of consciousness, and may lead to a sustained attempt at understanding what has been revealed of a transcendent Reality. Whether the revolutionary action is violent or peaceful, bitterly resentful or. loving, the one desire is TO REACH BEYOND ESTABLISHED FORM

As the dreamspell finished a 260 day round, and starts with kin 1 – the new moon from May 25 will be energetically active for 260 days, therefore I would like to dive deeper into other aspects of it too.

Jupiter is forming a quincunx to mercury and Neptun, creating a Yod. Longings, strives, spiritual quests, justice, spiritual development ever enhancing and increasing on one hand, the strive to formulate, address, sing or speak out what the inner claims of justice and higher education may seek is one theme, yet the quincunx itself is an aspect of inner seeking, of illusions and of the „all at one ment“ feelings, actions are hard to take, and the strive is usually to avoid addressing the issues. If there is an opposition of the Planet forming a Yod – in this case Jupiter, an aspect forms that is called „boomerang“ – as the energy gets locked in a constant „pin ball wizard“ like energy shift between the planets of the other side of the Yod planet. Venus runs into the opposition, so in the days to come it tends to take over the struggle between Neptune and Mercury, locking the energies of the spiritual quest and to adress and write and speak into the struggle for harmony and esthetics.

Mercury itself though is in a Yod also. He is showing this movement to Jupiter, as mentioned, as well as Lilith. There is the time of publicly addressed frankness. Lilith speaks out the unspeakable, and with Mercury adding to this, all that is in between ideal and reality can be addressed. Negotiations with this aspect have the tendency to bring everything on the table or on the menu.

Adding to this is the opposition between Saturn and Mars. Mars calls for action. Saturn calls for structure. Mars rebels against structure. Saturn demands it. It is like a constant drive with giving speed while having pulled the break. If tensions grow on the inner, the body may tend to clench teeth. One can dissolve tensions with physical exercises, that train speedy movements (mars) with precise stops (Saturn) as e.g. in martial arts, where one trains to focus the speed in the one moment of hitting, or where the focus is to stop the movement shortly before the exact structure is hit, e.g. to stop the hit before the hand hits the body. Also movements and training exercises one does in front of a wall, using the wall as stability for movements may give the body a sense of the energies that are needed and asked from life for this moment.

For all that are a bit deeper in Astrology, there is a very special „icing of the cake“ aspect – a 72 degree exact aspect between Jupiter and Saturn. The 72 aspect can be found with all that address the 72 angels of the Kabbalah, as each 72 days a new round of the 72 angels begin. So the range of Saturn and Jupiter are all angels. All names of god can be found in the relation between them.
